Inspired by the slang term for cool or awesome in surf culture, these vases embody the joy of catching the crest of a rolling wave. Our forms hopefully capture the lyrical fluid shapes of the waves.

Our Totally Tubular vases are a blend of sculptural and functional design. Handcrafted with care, they are made from recycled paper mache, paper clay, and Jesmonite eco-resin, reflecting our commitment to sustainable practices. The tubular structures, crafted from paper clay, encase removable glass test tubes, which ensure the vases remain waterproof.

We've purposefully juxtaposed the textured surface of the paper clay, which celebrates the imprint of the hand, with the cool smoothness and refinement of the Jesmonite base. The result is a striking visual contrast that adds depth and character to these modern eco-designs. To infuse a touch of vibrancy, we've painted the vases with a pop of colour - this vase in ocean blue reminiscent of the sea.

Each Totally Tubular vase stands as an unusual contemporary statement piece, which will add a bold presence to any interior. While they are sold individually, we encourage pairing them, as they seem to engage in a captivating dialogue when placed together. Sturdy and robust, due to the Jesmonite base, which ensures their stability.

For your convenience, the glass test tubes can be easily removed for cleaning, while the paper mache and paper clay surfaces have been coated with a matte seal, allowing for gentle wiping with a damp cloth to keep them looking their best.
