5 O'Clock Shadow collection draws inspiration from 3 distinct locales: Almeria, Doha, and Sicily, each contributing its unique essence. The collection features bold black patterns that pay homage to the elongated shadows seen during late summer evenings. The colours used are inspired by the serene beauty of desert landscapes, capturing the ethereal light of morning sunrises and the warm, comforting hues of sunsets. These pieces sold as a pair, feature unique forms with distended, bulbous bellies and elegant tall necks.

Sicily - known for producing an abundance of citrus fruits , particularly the orange, is also a source of inspiration. Its mountainous terrain, nestled at the foot of volcanoes, mirrors the contrasts found in nature. Mount Etna, the iconic volcano, casts a shadow that symbolises the dynamic interplay of light and dark in our collection. Sicily's unique position at the crossroads of Europe, Africa, and the Middle East enriches our artistic palette.

Central to our artistic process is the concept of recycling and repurposing. Throughout this series, we embrace the philosophy that waste can be a resource. We take discarded materials, such as paper and card, and breathe new life into them, aligning seamlessly with our circular design model. At the core of our technique is "decoupage," a method that adds depth and texture, enhancing the play of light and shadow within our creations. Recycled paper, card, and even egg boxes are repurposed into paper mâché and paper pulp creations. This aligns with our circular design model, where materials are reborn, echoing the essence of light and shadow.

Care and Limited Edition Information These forms have been sealed with a matte varnish, ensuring they can be easily cleaned with a light damp cloth. The base is crafted from Jesmonite, an eco-resin, that not only provides stability but also aligns with our commitment to sustainability. It features a cork base, enabling the forms to be displayed in any setting.
