In Spades vase - pink petal flower

In Spades vase - pink petal flower
Last autumn, Bob acquired an allotment in need of extensive clearing and preparation for spring planting. As amateur gardeners, this series of work is also inspired by our visits to Kew Gardens and the Garden Museum in London. At the heart of our design and philosophy lies a deep respect for nature and the environment. The In Spades series captures this spirit.
Each vase in the collection is a tribute to sustainability, crafted from recycled paper clay and discarded cardboard packaging. The unique design features hand painted, uncut cardboard box flaps arranged to form the shape of a spade. This design is echoed in the associated flower, reflecting the spade’s form and its connection to nature’s cycles.
Our workshop is dedicated to producing handcrafted, collectible homeware. All materials are responsibly sourced, supporting an eco-friendly production process. With a circular design approach, we create organic, functional forms that blend simplicity with a modern, graphic aesthetic. The bold use of colour adds a lively touch to each piece.
Our work is a celebration of minimalism—simple, fuss-free designs made from recycled materials. We aim to offer functional, environmentally mindful pieces that enhance the home while respecting the environment.
Each vase is sold with its associated flower. The flower is in eco friendly oasis.
